Galloping Gobbler

On Thanksgiving Day, Jason ran in the Galloping Gobbler.  It was a cold and rainy day, but we avoided the rain until after the race.  He had a great run and the boys enjoyed seeing the turkey and all the runners.

Evan didn't like being confined in the stroller.

Of course Evan wanted to touch the Turkey and had no fear.  He kept saying "Hi Bird!"

Grant was so awesome for getting up early.  He posed perfect for his picture with the Turkey.

Evan didn't like sitting still for the picture.  He wanted to walk around.  They had a band playing and the boys played on the bleachers until we went outside to see Jason come across the finish line.  It was starting to rain so I didn't get my camera out, but he finished, I promise!

Afterwards, we went to Thanksgiving in Pennville.
Here are a few pictures from that.
 Garrett, Emily, Allison and Grant

Why was it so hard to get a good picture of the two boys?  The one year old was standing perfectly still and the 4 year old was goofing off and wouldn't look at the camera.  :)

4th Birthday

For Grant's 4th Birthday, he had a Spiderman Party.  He had a lot of fun.  They sprayed silly sting at some of Spiderman's villians, and made a candy necklace, and had lots of fun playing with his friends.  We didn't get a family picture, but Jason and I have matching Spiderman shirts on, and both boys also had Spiderman shirts on.  We looked Spectacular!  He is getting so big, I just can't believe he is 4 already!
Evil Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin.

Throwing our webs at the villians!

Papa helping Evan with the candy necklace...well, actually he just tried to keep Evan from eating it all!

Grant, Justin, Joel and Ethan

I just love this picture of Joel as Grant is opening presents.

Just coloring Spiderman pictures.  He kept writing the alphabet over and over again!

 Happy Birthday Grant!

Dunes Camping 2010

Here are some pictures from our Dunes Camping trip.  We had a lot of fun.  The boys played in the dirt a lot and all 3 boys participated in the "1st Annual Dunes Dash"  Jason came in third and the boys had fun just running and getting a medal!

Trips to the Zoo

We have a great zoo in Fort Wayne and we try to go quite often in the summer.  The boys love it and there is always something new.  We have gotten to go a few times with friends.  We went with the Ross' and had a great time!  We even let Grant get his face painted like a tiger.
We met Rebecca and Tessa this past week and the kids loved the animals. It was super hot and so the kids cooled off by playing in the water fountain....but I don't have pictures of that.  :(
The lion was so close and soo big.  It was so awesome!

Spring has sprung!

Hey!  Well, there are not any pictures to post right now. We have been very busy the last few months.  We went on two vacations!  It was a very busy month of May.  Now June is starting to warm up again and we have been outside, to the zoo and reading books for the summer reading program.  The boys have been growing and learning so much.  They are happy playing together most of the time, but I know my time is coming to referee!  We just wanted to say HELLO to everyone and let you know that we have not forgotten about the blog.  I promise to post some pictures soon.  Please keep us in your prayers for a safe and healthy summer!
May God Bless!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

We had Evan's first birthday party a few weeks ago.  I can't believe he is already one.  I know everyone says that, but it is true how time flies.  He is growing so fast and learning something new everyday!
Opening up presents, with his helper Grant.  He really wanted that blue bow and he finally got it.  Grant did pretty good, but he really wanted to help open the gifts, since Evan didn't really care too much.
He got a lot of great things and had a lot of fun!
This boy LOVES balls!
Kylie holding Miryam, Mikala, Grant, Brennan, Connor, McKenna and the birthday boy!
He wasn't sure of the cake at first....

A little taste of the icing...
