Jason has signed up for the Fort Wayne mini marathon in September. He ran last year with an amazing time and such a great memory of an accomplished goal. He ran for Team Turnstone and plans to do the same this year. He has been training here and while in Vermont for work. I am once again raising money for Turnstone. It is a great non for profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities. You can check out the website at www.turnstone.org.
I would appreciate any contributions to that great organization in Jason's name as he runs supporting them. Many will run, walk or roll that morning of the race. Jason said it is was so encouraging to see the Team Turnstone shirts as he ran last year.
Thanks for checking it out and saying a prayer for a great organization!

Kidsplayce
I took the boys to Kidsplayce in Brattleboro. It had been on our list of things to do for a while, and we finally went. It isn't open everyday, so we usually forgot about it. It was a nice play place for the boys, full of lots of stuff, but I can't say that I was super impressed with it. It was fun and nice for the boys to climb and try new toys. We met Jason for lunch afterwards, so that kind of topped off the day!
Peaking up from a tunnel that he was climbing in. It was a "secret tunnel"!
Evan's favorite thing was the slide! Over and over again!
Cool castle to climb up to
Grant's favorite thing...the fireman pole! Over and over again!
They loved making noise on the piano. They looked so cute playing there together.
And back to the piano before we left!
Mary Meyer Stuffed Animals
As part of our family day we took the boys to the Big Black Bear Shop that sells all kinds of stuffed animals made by Mary Meyer. The boys were excited to go in and pick out whatever they wanted. Of course, Evan wanted a $70 big stuffed dog, but settled on his new "little dog" to accompany his "big dog". Grant picked out a cool snake that is about 5 feet long. He named it Squirt, with some help from Mikala.
Kind of sitting still.
I think Evan is saying that he isn't going to sit yet.
Big Hugs!!!
Let's see how long it is!

Science Museum
Tuesday we drove north to the Montshire Museum of Science. It was a pretty drive as the trees all had new snow on them, but it had melted by the time we drove home. It was a lot of fun and the boys really enjoyed it.
The drive up.
Playing with some bubbles in different liquids.
Watching the balls go down a ramp. There was a much cooler ramp, but it had gotten jammed, so they were both "sad".
The boys by the HUGE moose.
Part of the Blue Mans Group Exhibit. It had a lot to do with sounds. It was cool and they got to make a lot of noise!
Watching a movie about the Blue Man Group.
Mixing up something awful in his wicked witch's brew! Mwah ha ha!
Fog Machine!
Playing with bubbles! I can't wait for spring!
Big Bubble Master!
Playing inside part of a children's play area.
Standing in front of the museum before we left.

Evan is TWO!
Happy Birthday Evan!
Our little man started his terrible twos Sunday. We had a special day planned for him. I had blown up balloons and put them on the living room floor, so when he came downstairs that morning, he was pretty excited! Grant, Evan and I made dog ears to sport for his 'party'....but Evan didn't really want to wear them, of course. We picked Daddy up at lunch and opened presents and had lunch and a dog cake. We went out to eat and got ice cream after supper. He got a few calls wishing him Happy Birthday, and for a two year old, he seemed pretty happy with his birthday!
A room full of balloons! What a way to start out your day!
A happy big brother with a happy balloon!
He was so excited about his new Buzz cup!
Dog ears for two cute puppy dogs!
Opening a gift, and do you notice Dog in the background?
Can't have a party without party blowers!
Thanks Mema for balloons and the blowers....they were a big hit with the boys, all 3 of them!
Opening up another gift!
My camera decided to act up on me as we were doing cake. So I didn't get a picture of him blowing out the candle or screaming "Dog Cake!" Oh well, it was a good memory.

Vermont Happenings
Here are some pictures of the boys. They include an open gym play group, craft time, Wii time, bowling, and a few from outside. We have actually been able to play outside behind the apartment complex the past few days. There are a lot of puddles, so they end up splashing like crazy. They love it and we come in and they take a warm bath. There are some other random pictures and the birthday cake that I made Evan. Not exactly prize winning, but he is going to LOVE it!
